Monster Wolffish

트로피이미지

Monster Wolffish0Japanese fisherman, Hiroshi Hirasaka, reeled in a monster wolffish near Hokkaido Island on Aug. 30. The fish is scary-looking and quite ugly. It has a huge mouth, and is 2 m long, about twice the size of a typical wolffish. Wolffish are generally about 1.2 m in length, and live on the floors of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
Some people think that the fish is an unintended byproduct from Japan’s Fukushima Nuclear Plant accident in 2011. They speculate that an enormous amount of radiation affected the fish. Researcher Timothy Mousseau, however, said that the fish’s size has nothing to do with Japan’s nuclear disaster.
